Santa Rita Abbey 50th Anniversary Celebration
Saturday, April 22, 2023
10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Festivities begin with a Jubilee Mass at 10:30 a.m.
with Bishop Weisenburger and visiting Cistercian abbots and abbesses
in the monastery church.
A light lunch
and tours of the monastery
will follow.

Directions from Tucson: take Interstate 10 East, to Exit 281 (Sonoita / Patagonia) for Highway 83. Head south on Route 83 for 21 miles, then turn right onto Gardner Canyon Road. After 0.8 miles, turn right onto Fish Canyon Road. Continue 0.9 miles, bearing left at the fork of the road at the “Abbey” sign. Cross the cattleguard, and follow the road up the hill. At the top of the hill, continue to the right, past the guest house, to the monastery.
