Both a foundress and Platinum Jubilarian with over 70 years in vows, Clare is a living testament to the life in which she has been immersed over decades. She inspires us with her gifts of wit and courage in the face of the challenges and privileges of aging. Her wonderful stories of the early days at our motherhouse—where she was among the first postulants—and our Arizona house, her love of life and sense of adventure, and above all, her love of Jesus and dedication to prayer are invaluable gifts to our community. She serves both us and our callers as portress and her talents as iconographer and weaver have enriched and delighted us for years.
