April 2017 – Holy Week & Easter, cont’d

As promised, here are more photos from Holy Week at Santa Rita Abbey. This post features Good Friday, the Easter Vigil, and Easter Day.

Good Friday: the church sanctuary is empty
Good Friday: on this solemn day of prayer and remembrance, decorating Easter eggs lifts our hearts to the coming hope of Easter. Sr. Cathy & M. Vicki are our artistic decorators.
